The Department of Aerospace Engineering excels in teaching and research in traditional and modern Aerospace Engineering areas of study including: aerodynamics, jet and rocket propulsion, aeroelasticity, structural design and optimization, guidance and control, and space flight mechanics. Gifts to the Aerospace Engineering Department are utilized at the discretion of the Dean and Department Chair.
