Courage Through Cancer Endowment

For seven years, the Wallace Shatsky Blackburn Courage Through Cancer Fund has been an act of compassion and has built a foundation of optimism. When a student's life was suddenly derailed by cancer—either their own diagnosis or that of a loved one—this fund stepped in. Thanks to our generous donors, an estimated 50 students have received the essential support for tuition, housing, meal plans and more. It's a legacy of hope, built to give students the courage to move forward and have the future they deserve.

Each year the committee sees students at their lowest, feeling shattered and lost, facing a crisis they never deserved. Your support allows the university to act instantly: wrapping them with vital resources, providing their academic continuity, and giving them the chance to build a future that cancer cannot touch.

Because students' circumstances are unique, their funding needs range from $2,000 to more than $10,000. Your investment is critical because it allows us to meet them precisely on their personal life journey impacted by cancer. Thank you.
