About the Team
SDSU Cycling is one of the many Aztec Recreation sport club teams. Our student-run team is made up of approximately 15 riders and operates with guidance from professional staff. We welcome cyclists of all experience levels, from beginners looking to ride more consistently to experienced athletes interested in collegiate racing.
This year, our goal is to grow the team, encourage more students to ride regularly, and help more members participate in races and team events. We are reaching out to alumni, family, friends, and members of the cycling community to support our mission of building a strong and inclusive collegiate cycling team.
Our Core Values
Our team focuses on creating friendships, promoting an active lifestyle, and giving students a positive escape from the daily pressures of college. We strive to build a welcoming community where everyone can enjoy cycling, regardless of skill level.
There are no tryouts, and members can choose whether they want to race competitively or simply participate in group rides at their own pace. We believe bikes are fun, and we want to share that experience with as many SDSU students as possible.
Impact of Donor Support
Donor support helps cover essential expenses such as team uniforms, race fees, transportation, food, bike repairs, and other competition-related costs. These expenses can create financial barriers for students who want to participate.
With your support, we can make cycling and racing more accessible, bring more riders to events, and provide our members with a memorable college experience on two wheels. Every contribution helps SDSU Cycling continue to grow, compete, and thrive.
