Men's Club Volleyball

About

About the Team

San Diego State University Men’s Club Volleyball is a student-run organization that trains and competes at a high level. As an official Associated Students sports club, we navigate a demanding regular‑season schedule in the Southern California Collegiate Volleyball League (SCCVL) before testing our skills against the nation’s best at the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation (NCVF) Championships. We have two teams, an “A” and a “B” team, that are both highly competitive. Over the last eight years, we have had great success, including two national championships and numerous top-ten national finishes.

Costs

To continue to compete at this high level, it comes at a cost:

  • Coaching Salaries: Paying for the guidance and experience of our two coaches.
  • Travel: Expenses of traveling to and from tournaments throughout the season.
  • Lodging: Accommodation costs for both teams at tournaments out of state.
  • Registration: Fees to enter tournaments and league participation.

Call to action

We’re honored to start another new season, but sustaining our championship standard takes more than hard work on the court; it takes a community behind us. As of now, we have a goal to raise $10,000 to help fund this upcoming season. Your gift fuels the essentials as mentioned before: travel, lodging, coaching, and tournament fees, ensuring that every Aztec athlete can compete on the biggest stages without financial burden. By investing today, you empower us to play the best competition, chase another top finish at NCVF Nationals, and fly the SDSU flag with pride wherever we play. Your tax-deductible gift, of any amount, will support the team in competing.
